Milgauss
The anti-magnetic Rolex built for scientists.
The Rolex Milgauss was born in 1956 for those working among magnetic fields: it withstands 1,000 gauss thanks to a soft-iron shield around the movement. Developed with scientists at CERN, it carries the lightning-bolt seconds hand. Out of production since 2023, it is increasingly sought after.
Currently 35 certified pre-owned Milgauss listings are available, from 16 authorized dealers, with prices € 10,400–14,500 (average ~€ 12,468), £ 9,750–12,650 (average ~£ 11,421; ≈ € 11,400–14,800), CHF 10,000–15,000 (average ~CHF 11,667; ≈ € 10,800–16,200), SEK 120,000–120,000 (average ~SEK 120,000; ≈ € 10,900–10,900), DKK 90,000–90,000 (average ~DKK 90,000; ≈ € 12,100–12,100).
